Jazzmin “JazzyRed” Dunbar born September 28th 1992, is an American Singer and songwriter in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. JazzyRed started writing music in the 4th grade after learning about songwriting in her choir class at Linwood A+ Elementary. She has since and continues to write songs everyday.
In 2014 JazzyRed gave birth to a daughter. In 2016 they moved to Houston TX and sought out to further her songwriting career through some connections that developed through networking. There she worked with several local producers.
Hurricane Harvey in August of 2017 brought JazzyRed and her daughter back to Minnesota. JazzyRed finally emerged as an RnB artist to the public, and graced the stage where she hosted her own cover band at a local dive bar in St.Paul, MN called Hot Rods. Jazzy and her band worked studios and stages all over the Twin Cities. In Nov 2018 JazzyRed booked her first solo gig, opening up for multi platinum recording artist Musiq Soulchild. Jazzyred later released her first studio recorded single entitled Miss Me written by her produced by local Houston engineer Bambino.
In 2019 JazzyRed teamed up with her now signed on label, unstable intellect. In June she opened up for rap legend Scarface of Face Mob at famous Minneapolis venue, the Caboose. You can catch JazzyRed appearing on several Unstable Intellect projects and is due to release her debut EP in summer of 2020.
